Hemingfords' Regatta Saturday 9th July 2022
The Regatta has been an annual event for well in excess of 100 years. Having only been stopped occasionally in the past by world wars, floods and once by riverbank repairs – the pandemic has seen two summers without the splash of oars, the laughter of children and the shouting of coxes along the riverbank in June and July. I’m sure all of us will be delighted to welcome back this unique and highly enjoyable annual ritual
Get Involved
Practice takes place on weekdays in the five weeks preceding Regatta Day. Anyone who qualifies to race or cox can have a go for free, with experienced rowers on hand to offer encouragement and advice.
