The safety of everyone taking part in the Hemingfords’ Regatta is paramount

As parent/guardian of the child(ren) below, I sign with understanding and agreement that:

  1. Neither the members of the Regatta Committee nor any volunteers helping with practice will be liable in respect of the death or any personal injury to my child(ren) as a result of his/her taking part in practice or in the Regatta.

  2. I indemnify the Committee and volunteers against any claim on respect of such liability.

  3. My child(ren) will not be in a boat for the whole of a practice session and will spend time on the riverbank waiting for their turn.

  4. Responsibility for all children during practice sessions and on Regatta Day remains with their parents/guardians who must remain on the riverbank observing their children.

  5. The Committee reserves the right to exclude any child(ren) from practice sessions due to disruptive behaviour.

  6. My child will not be wearing a life jacket while rowing and can confidently swim 50m in the clothing worn to practice (No thick/heavy clothing or open shoes).

  7. My child can take part in canoe practice and may get wet!

  8. Photograph(s) of my child(ren) may be used for Regatta-related publicity unless I state otherwise when returning this form.

  9. I understand that safety of all users of the river is paramount and therefore I will ensure that my child(ren) are familiar with the following rules:
